A free utility to almost completely protect a network and its corresponding communications.

I2P is a network anonymizer, offering a very manageable interface with applications that let you always make and work with secure communications. All the data involved is protected with various levels of encryption, and the network is distributed and dynamic.

I2P isn't a tool that looks for total and perfect anonymity, because this is impossible. But, if you want to make it very difficult, and get in the way of the large majority of large scale network attacks, then this is it. The applications used by I2P (for example Syndie, I2P mail, or I2PSnark) guarantee both functionality and security. I2P is a project still in development, and with time it is hoped to offer even higher security levels, and support against tougher attacks. For the moment it is a magnificent option to reinforce and strengthen a network, and work in a distributed and secure environment.
